Which laws apply

We operate in the United Arab Emirates, so UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the PDPL) applies to what we do with your information.

This site is aimed at an international audience, and we use analytics that can set cookies. Where you are in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies; where you are in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations apply.

Where those regimes give you stronger rights than the PDPL, we apply the stronger position rather than the weaker one.

What we collect, and when

When you submit the enquiry form, we receive the fields you filled in: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, country of residence, the service you selected, your business activity, the number of visas you expect to need, and your message.

We also receive technical context submitted with the form: which page you were on, which campaign parameters were in the URL, the site that referred you, and the answers you gave the Setup Advisor. This tells us how you arrived and what you were looking at.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel receive information about which pages you view and which actions you take. They never receive anything you typed into a form — the events this site sends carry only page paths, campaign keys, service identifiers and Setup Advisor answers, and the code enforces that with an allowlist.

If you decline analytics, or make no choice, no analytics or advertising script is loaded at all and neither service receives anything.

What we do with it

We use your enquiry to reply to it and to prepare for the consultation. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Where your enquiry involves specialised accounting or tax work, we may share the relevant details with the licensed partner firm handling it — and we will tell you which firm before we do.

Where it is stored

Enquiries reach us by email and are held in our business systems. Where those systems are operated outside the UAE or the country you are in, the transfer is made on the basis that we only use providers offering an adequate standard of protection.

The Setup Advisor and the document checklists store your answers in your own browser, on your own device. That data never reaches us unless you send it — it contains no personal information, only the options you selected.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we may reasonably need it in connection with the engagement, and then for the period required by UAE record-keeping obligations. Where you ask us to delete it and no obligation requires us to keep it, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to stop using it, and ask for a copy in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent — as we do for analytics — you can withdraw it at any time using the tracking preferences link in the footer.

If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookie unless you accept analytics. The only thing stored otherwise is your consent choice itself, together with any Setup Advisor answers or checklist progress you create — all held in your browser and readable only by this site.
